Uncle Tom's Cabin -- Where Did It Come From?

Today, we celebrate the birth date of one of our most famous (and controversial) American authors. This author was born on June 14, 1811. After the Fugitive Slave Law was passed, she responded by writing a novel, which tackles one of the most controversial issues in American history.
