Hunting and fishing were important activities in the life of Ernest Hemingway, and they would figure prominently into some of his most famous works. Now, Hemingway's 40-foot, black-hulled fishing boat, the Pilar is in for a little overhaul, according to the Associated Press. In Farewell to Arms, Ernest Hemingway wrote: "I know the night is not the same as the day: that all things are different, that the things of the night cannot be explained in the day, because they do not then exist, and the night can be a dreadful time for lonely people once their loneliness has started."
