Award Winners Join Forces

The Edinburgh International Book Festival will take place on Auguest 12-28, 2006. The event will feature some 650 events for both young and old alike. And, already we're hearing about the famous authors who will be there.

According to BBC News, Seamus Heaney and Harold Pinter will be key figures at the festival, at "meet the author" sessions. Both are Nobel-prize winning authors, and Seamus Heaney recently offered up his translation of Antigone, with A Burial at Thebes.
