An Anniversary for Vonnegut Gone?
Friday April 11, 2008
On April 11, 2007, Kurt Vonnegut died.
It was a tragic loss. But, you can measure the effectiveness of a writer by what he leaves behind--the power of his words, and how his impassioned strokes on paper have changed lives. I've said before... He was a writer's novelist, but he was so much more. He touched the hearts and minds of so many of the readers who were able to approach him through his books.
In Slaughterhouse-Five, Vonnegut wrote: "Everything is all right, and everybody has to do exactly what he does."

Kurt Vonnegut was an amazing writer. I’v read six of his novels and some short stories. I love his black humor.
