French writer. His analytical mind warred with his imagination. Acclaimed as
the "high priest of realism," he has also been called the "writer

American writer. Benjamin Franklin was a Boston-born inventor, statesman, patriot,
and publisher. He's well-known for his Autobiography, and for his role in the
American Revolution (1775-1783).
