How To Ask a Stupid Question

I've heard some teachers and professors say that there are no "stupid" questions. But, some students still manage to come up with some pretty outlandish queries. Here's how you can ask a stupid question in class...

Here's How:

  1. Neglect your reading.

    If you haven't finished the reading assignment, it's easy to ask a question that could very well be answered if you'd have read the rest of the book, story, or play. If you're prepared for class, you can be sure that you

  2. Ask a question that the teacher or professor has just answered.

    If you haven't been listening to the lecture, the teacher may have just answered the question you're about to ask.

  3. Fall asleep in class, and then ask a question.

    If you've been asleep in class, it's difficult to know how the conversation developed during the class period. You can easily ask a stupid or irrelevant question when you don't know what's going on.
