The Great Pyramid has inspired everything from toys and jewelry to clocks and figurines. But, for book-lovers, this latest addition is much more fun (and useful). It's the Peeramid BookRest, with a fabric exterior and colorful designs, which make it perfect for reading anywhere.
Designed by Charlie Overton York and Carolyn Overton Morton, the Peeramid is a sort of pyramid-shaped pillow, with a ledge for propping you book up on. There's even a bookmark built right in. So, you can sit back, relax, sip your cup of tea or coffee, and enjoy reading your book.

Where do you read?

With busy schedules, you may find yourself reading in all sorts of places--indoors and out. Many bookstands and bookrests that I've used are designed more for use on a table or desk, and they're not really comfortable for use on the floor, on the couch, or elsewhere. The Peeramid is great for use in all those places where many traditional metal and wood bookstands and bookrests just won't work. And, it hides nicely--it looks just like a throw-pillow if you turn it over. You can even sleep on it if a nap strikes your fancy...
A Reminder?

The Peeramid also serves as a reminder: Reading is fun and it doesn't have to be cramped or uncomfortable. Reading can be comfortable. It doesn't have to be a forced activity for just libraries or classroom torture. You can enjoy what you read, and this little book pillow may just change the literary landscape as it promotes the idea of comfort reading at its finest.

Whether this little book pillow will actually "change the landscape of the literary world," or just provide comfortable reading pleasure to students and readers--the Peeramid BookRest is a great resource. And besides, anything that helps get more people to read books has got to be good!
