Born and living in central Ohio, Patty Inglish is a writer/researcher, martial arts grandmaster, and youth ministries volunteer. Her favorite literary genres include mysteries, classics, global literature, aerospace sciences, science fiction, and Christian non-fiction. Patty writes educational materials, book reviews, training manuals, and grant proposals.
She earned an MS degree in preventive medicine from The Ohio State University College of Medicine and Public Health, with a BS and work experience in psychology. She has worked in restaurant and medical training operations, education, psychotherapy and assessment, and sports. With 9th-degree black belt ranks in all of Jidokwan Taekwondo, Yudo, Jujutsu, Hapkido, and Combat Self Defense, she has taught martial arts for 24 years and donated lessons to the physically challenged and at-risk youth, women and families. Her students in Michigan, Ohio, and Africa have been champions in the US Open, several African events, the Olympics, and the Arnold Martial Arts Festival. Patty is the US Representative to the Supreme Council of Sports in Africa, Zone 3, the founder of the New International Jidokwan Federation, and a member of Karate for Christ International.
